Ogilvie Castle stands in Perth and Kinross as the ruined tower house of the Murrays or Earls of Styrathearn, built around the thirteenth or fourteenth century and broken by the late sixteenth. Its stones still mark the ground where local power was lived, defended and forgotten. The exact chamber layout has faded, but the name and region keep the place accountable to memory.
