Struan

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Struan as Cross Incised Stone (early Medieval), Pictish Symbol Stone (pictish), Stone (early Medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Struan is associated with Saint Struan, a 7th-century Irish monk and missionary linked to the spread of Christianity in Pictish Scotland. The site is traditionally connected to healing rituals and is said to have a holy well, where pilgrims once sought cures for ailments, particularly those affecting the eyes.
