What is recorded here

Castle Law, Abernethy stands as a prehistoric fort in Perth and Kinross, its ancient purpose buried under centuries of grass and rain. The hill may have watched traders, warriors or ordinary families passing below, but human memory has forgotten which. What remains is a shape strong enough to resist time, waiting for someone curious enough to look up and admit the gap.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castle Law, Abernethy as Fort (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
