Pitcastle Burn marks a field boundary above medieval rig and furrow, preserving the shape of tools that cut Perth and Kinross long before modern roads. The land still carries the bruises of repeated ploughing, each ridge a shadow of patience rather than profit. Someone walked this line when certainty mattered more than comfort, drawing ownership through muscle instead of ink.
