Culfargie

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Culfargie as Ring Cairn (neolithic) - (bronze Age), Shieling Hut(s) (post Medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic ring cairn, possibly used for ritual or ceremonial purposes, with later Bronze Age activity. Its significance lies in its contribution to understanding early prehistoric land use and monument construction in the region.
