Clach Na Tiompan

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Clach Na Tiompan as Chambered Cairn (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic chambered cairn; dates to the early Neolithic period (c. 4000–3500 BCE). It represents a significant early funerary and ceremonial monument type in Scotland, reflecting communal burial practices and social organisation of prehistoric communities.
