Pitcastle Burn holds a prehistoric hut circle beside unassigned cairns and enclosures, marking one of the oldest repeated human claims in Perth and Kinross. People may have built there to shelter, bury, exclude or remember before written history arrived. The land still keeps that much older rhythm beneath its burn and fields.
