Kincardine Castle is a Victorian country house built between 1894 and 1896 for Mary Pickering on the site of an earlier lodge from around 1780. David Barclay Niven and Herbert Hardy Wigglesworth designed its first major commission using Scots Baronial styles, blending features from five centuries into twin drum towers, circular turrets and a plain entrance tower. The house remains the private home of the Bradford family while serving as a venue for weddings and private dining within a 3,000-acre estate of walled and woodland gardens.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Kincardine Castle as Building (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Kincardine Castle was built by the Drummonds in the 14th century and later held by the Keiths in the 16th century. It is important as a historic stronghold associated with powerful Scottish noble families and as an example of medieval military architecture in central Scotland.
