Castle Huntly Holdings may be a small copper buckle, not a grand castle at all. A tiny metal loop could have held a leather strap, a bag or a belt for someone walking the Perth and Kinross land long before maps existed. The real building might have fallen, sunk or never been written down, leaving only a forgotten shape behind a misleading name.
