Anti Landing Trench, Castlemartin marks a Post Medieval defence line in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Earth and muscle built a barrier against invasion, forcing any attacker into open ground where arrows, muskets or hunger could finish what surprise denied. The trench no longer bites, but its shape still warns that the coast belongs to nobody who arrives without permission.
