Why this matters

What is recorded here

Annotated 'Patrick's Well' on the 1837 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Located at a kink in a field boundary at a relatively high point within Robswalls Park. This natural spring well, known as St Patrick's well, has been incorporated into a field ditch which is very overgrown.
