Detached multiple-bay former railway shunting buildings, built c. 1870. Rectangular-plan gable-fronted three-bay two-storey carriage shed, attached gable-fronted single-storey sheds to south. Pitched corrugated-iron sheeted roof, raised gables with limestone verge copings, cast-iron rainwater goods. Red brick walling, stepped recessed window bays and tympanums. Round-headed window openings, buff brick voussoirs, stone sills, painted timber multiple-paned fixed panes. Square-headed door opening infilled. Corrugated metal sheeted shed, attached to south. Set in large grounds, now in use as retail park, located on spur of the main Great Northern Railway line.
