What is recorded here

Marked faintly as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 48m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated close to the top of a broad E-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 45m E-W; 36m N-S) defined by a slight scarp best perceived E-S (H 0.4m). The entrance (Wth 6m) may have been at ENE where there is a slight dip in the perimeter. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
