Situated on a rise, in pasture. A ringfort (WM030-063----) lies c. 90m to S. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly trapezoidal-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1964 as a relatively small D-shaped area enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone. Levelled monument described in 1973 as a faint traces of a levelled scarp which is best preserved along the W side. Levelled monument is visible today as a faint roughly D-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe aerial photography.
