The public map records this plaque for Worthing Lifeboat House. Its recorded inscription reads: Worthing Lifeboat House, 1875‒1950. Brave local lifeboatmen guarded this coast since 1853. Worthing ceased as an active station in 1930 and the lifeboat remained as a museum exhibit until the RNLI sold the building in 1950.
A plaque record does not grant entry to a building or private land. View it from a public place unless permission is clearly given.
