In memory of the crew of a Wellington bomber which crashed beneath these cliffs on 13 April 1942. PO H W Russ RCAF, FO E A Blair RNZAF, Sgt C T Daniel RAF, PO L Noble RAF, PO F C Lebon RAF. This memorial was erected to their honour in 1988.
