Linga Holm

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Linga Holm as Chapel (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1km. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The site's name, derived from the Old Norse for "holy islet," reflects its early Christian and Norse heritage, with local folklore suggesting it was once a place of retreat for monks and a site for curing ailments through holy water.
