Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Eday, Bay of London as Burial Cairn (later Prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

A later prehistoric burial cairn, likely dating to the Bronze Age. Its presence contributes to understanding of funerary practices and settlement patterns in Orkney during this period.
