This green commemorative plaque records: Ford Place Built on the site of a former Augustinian Friary, the house was home of the Fison fertilizer family and later, Sir William Gentle. Now a private nursing home, the house and grounds have recently been restored. Recorded plaque organisation: Thetford Town Council.
