This bronze commemorative plaque records: Cuthbert Morrell House. Acquired and restored by York Conservation Trust in 2006, this building is named after Cuthbert Morrell (1872-1959), co-founder of the trust. It was originally built in the late 19th century as an extension of St Anthony's Hall to accommodate part of the Blue Coat School. Recorded plaque organisation: York Civic Trust.
