This blue commemorative plaque records: Corn Mill A Fulling mill existed here in the 13th century to process cloth from Cockersands Abbey Estate. The later corn mill's wheel was housed horizontally in the basement and the route of the leat can still be seen nearby. Recorded plaque organisation: Wyre Borough Council.
