This red commemorative plaque records: Radlett Village Institute. Built in 1928 to accommodate local groups and societies. Set on land part-donated by the Hon.Mrs.R.C.Phillimore, the £5000 cost of construction was raised by a Fair staged by the community. Once opened, the 1884 Men's Club-now named the Radlett Members Club- moved in, and remains there alongside other users and business tenants. Recorded plaque organisation: Radlett & District Museum.
