This blue commemorative plaque records: Bardon Hill Stables. This former stables and coach house was built in 1873-5. In 1902 it was lavishly rebuilt by Thomas Winn for Bardon Hill's new occupant the millionaire race-horse owner Joseph Pickersgill, bookmaker to Edward VII when Prince of Wales. It was renovated and converted to luxury apartments in 2002. Recorded plaque organisation: Leeds Civic Trust.
