This blue commemorative plaque records: Viking Cycles Limited 1908-1967 The City's largest cycle manufacturer Viking was Britain's leading producer of innovative lightweight and juvenile cycles in the mid 20th Century, and the company sponsored and equipped the Nation's most successful racing team post-war. Viking Cycles were built in Princess Alley between 1934 and 1955 Recorded plaque organisation: Wolverhampton Civic Society.
