This green commemorative plaque records: Marie Louise Weller born 2nd September 1877 in Towcester. Active and committed member of the Suffragette movement. Chaired a meeting of the Women's Social and Political Union at this town hall on 8th January 1910. Awarded the Holloway Brooch by Mrs Pankhurst in recognition of her support for universal suffrage.
