This blue commemorative plaque records: The Brown House. Originally a farmhouse, it became the home of Dr Harper. Medical Officer at Brixworth Workhouse in the 19th Century. In the late 20th century Paul Morgan (1948 to 2001) co-founder of Ilmor Engineering lived here. Recorded plaque organisation: Brixworth Heritage Trail.
