What is recorded here

This blue commemorative plaque records: The Old Post Office. This was Brixworth's first Post Office open as early as 1847 when the postmaster was John Knight. He was also a grocer and draper. Thomas Holt was sub-postmaster for 30 years until his death in 1914 when the Post Office was moved to a new site. Recorded plaque organisation: Brixworth Heritage Trail.

A plaque record does not grant entry to a building or private land. View it from a public place unless permission is clearly given.
