This yellow commemorative plaque records: A simple act of wonder 2020. When The Bevy was first built, Moulsecoomb was an estate of Temperence, with no alcohol allowed. Originally, a gate was cunningly placed here to convince planners that the pub was in Bevendean, when actually it was in Moulsecoomb. Miraculously, it worked.
