This blue commemorative plaque records: Louise Carnegie Gates. These gates were erected in 1929 as a tribute to Andrew to Andrew Carnegie's widow and restored in 2000. The neo-Baroque design was by Jamieson and Arnott and the ornate ironwork by Thomas Hadden.
A plaque record does not grant entry to a building or private land. View it from a public place unless permission is clearly given.
