This blue commemorative plaque records: St Wilfrid's R.C. Church The nave of the church was completed in 1886 of local stone. It is adjacent to the site of the original school chapel built in 1869. The porch, tower and steeple were added in 1908. Recorded plaque organisation: Longridge Heritage Committee.
