This black commemorative plaque records: MYNWENT Y PANT Mae hon yn un o ddwy fynwent drefol fawr ym Merthyr a agorwyd yn 1849 yn ystod yr ail bla colera, pan fu farw 1432 o bobi. Darperid lleiniau qwahanol i wahanol grefyddau. PANT CEMETERY This is one of two large municipal cemeteries in Merthyr, opened in 1849 during the second cholera epidemic which claimed 1432 lives. Separate areas were provided for different religions. Recorded plaque organisation: Merthyr Tydfil Heritage Trust.
