This pink commemorative plaque records: Old Town Station. The Station building was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and his assistant R. P. Brereton. It opened on 31st May 1841. The branch line from Kemble closed to passenger trains on 6th April 1964. Recorded plaque organisation: Cirencester Civic Society.
