This yellow commemorative plaque records: Cirencester Lock-up. This 18th century building stood in Gloucester Street until moved here by 1837 to form part of the Cirencester workhouse. Now restored, it displays the history of both buildings. Key and leaflet available from the office reception or from the Corinium Museum.
