This blue commemorative plaque records: The Eaton Socon Brewery This house was once part of the Eaton Socon Brewery - a successful business which owned around 20 public houses and beer houses. Started in the mid 19th century, it lasted for around 70 years. By the 1920s, the buildings were used by Howard & Wright's Corn Merchants. When the buildings were demolished, a petrol station was built. Recorded plaque organisation: Eatons Community Association.
