This black commemorative plaque records: King's Landing. Opposite this spot King George IV landed on 15th August 1822, an historic visit arranged mainly by Sir Walter Scott, for the bicentenary of whose birth this plaque was erected. Recorded plaque organisation: Leith Civic Trust.
