This multicoloured commemorative plaque records: Abbotts' Baths (1786-1867) Leamington's first public baths: initially of basic construction, but improved in 1815 and redeveloped in 1826 when it had eight baths for hot and cold bathing. It was said to be superior to even the Royal Pump Room
