This brown commemorative plaque records: Widows Almshouses Built early 17th century as cottages. Converted in 1676 to Almshouses for six widows by Sir Roger Wilbraham, moved by the death of his wife and sons. Recorded plaque organisation: Rotary Club of Nantwich.
