This slate commemorative plaque records: THE GREEN DRAGON INN. A Merchants House. Earliest structure dates from the 14th century. After timber gables had been added in the late 16th century, it was known as The Great Garratt. Restored by Warwicks & Richardsons Ltd. 1956 Recorded plaque organisation: Lincoln Civic Trust.
