This blue commemorative plaque records: Centuries built 1107 - extended 1334 and 1811 the birthplace and home of Haymo de Hythe (Bishop of Rochester) He founded , for the poor people of Hythe , a hospital (St. Andrews) in this building in 1336. in 1685 it became known as Saint Bartholomew's Hospital Recorded plaque organisation: Hythe Civic Society.
