This green commemorative plaque records: Tudor Archway This 16th century stone arch in a red brick wall forms an entrance to Place Farm. Lower courses of the brick wall are 16th century; upper courses are 19th century. The northern section is 18th century. Tiled coping sits on top of a dog-toothed (dentil) course. Grade II listed Recorded plaque organisation: Wheathampstead Heritage.
