This blue commemorative plaque records: Govan Graving Docks. Built between 1869 and 1898 for the repair and maintenance of ships' hulls. The docks are one of the most complete and evocative pieces of shipbuilding history on the Clyde. A-Listed building status Recorded plaque organisation: Glasgow City Council.
