This blue commemorative plaque records: Captain George Edward Schultz (1887 - 1917) Company Commander 1st Birkenhead Battalion was born in this house. Served in the Cheshire Greys, Cheshire Territorial Force and the Bantams. Died of his wounds in Picardy 19th August 1917 Recorded plaque organisation: Oxton Society.
