This grey commemorative plaque records: Leman House (Grade I) An outstanding C16th building, remodelled in the Jacobean style. In 1631, it was endowed as a school by Sir John Leman, whose coat of arms adorns the North Gable. Recorded plaque organisation: The Beccles Society.
