This blue commemorative plaque records: Houldsworth Working Men's Club. Designed by famous mill architect Abraham Stott for the cotton workers of Houldsworth Mill in 1874. William Houldsworth established the club as part of a new industrial community in Reddish Recorded plaque organisation: Stockport Heritage Trust, Metropolitan Borough of Stockport.
