This blue commemorative plaque records: St. Faith's Church. The present church was built in the 12th century and much restored in the 19th century. During repairs in 1832, traces of Roman foundations were found beneath it. This suggests that some form of worship may have taken place on this site for 2,000 years. The chancel which is the oldest part of the church dates back to the 13th century. Recorded plaque organisation: Rotary Club of Havant, Havant Borough Council.
