What is recorded here

This green commemorative plaque records: The old Town Hall where the Court Leet was held, adjoined this site. At ground level there were open colonnades for the market; here also stood stocks, pillory and whipping post. The building collapsed in 1826. Recorded plaque organisation: Bradford on Avon Preservation Trust.
