This green commemorative plaque records: Town Bridge dates from 13th century and was doubled in width in 1769. The 17th century Lock-up may have replaced a medieval chapel. The weather vane is known as the Bradford Gudgeon. The bridge is in the care of Wiltshire County Council Recorded plaque organisation: Bradford on Avon Preservation Trust.
