This blue commemorative plaque records: The Foundations of this wall, which extended southwards down Church Lane, are of considerable antiquity and indicate the western boundary of the ancient borough, founded 1200 AD by William Redvers of Devon Recorded plaque organisation: Rotary Club of Lymington.
