This blue commemorative plaque records: Diana Stanley 1909-1975 artist & author lived in Cliddesden Road from 1954 firstly at No37 & later at No39. She illustrated several books including the 'Borrowers' series, 'Worzel Gummidge' and her own local book 'Within Living Memory' Recorded plaque organisation: Basingstoke Heritage Society.
