This grey commemorative plaque records: THE UNDERCROFT This early 14th century building was the ground floor room or Undercroft of a Medieval house, the upper storeys have been demolished. The Undercroft is a finely ribbed vault with hooded fireplace and early "ball-flower" ornament. Recorded plaque organisation: County Borough of Southampton.
